Executive Summary

Thailand's equity market has been one of Asia's standout performers this year. The benchmark SET Index closed July above the 1,600 key level, underpinned by continued foreign fund inflows, with Resources and Financials leading the July gains. Notably, the impact of the global AI sector correction on the Thai Market has been limited, supported by the market's more diversified composition, a useful contrast for Singapore investors whose portfolios may be heavily tilted towards technology. The market has consolidated in early August, with the SET holding above the 1,600 support currently, as rising oil prices and higher U.S. bond yields keep sentiment cautious amid renewed Middle East tensions.

In this article, we look at three Thai large caps that are showing constructive setups on the One Good Trend (1GT) framework, all of which are accessible on the SGX via Thai Depository Receipts. Airports of Thailand (AOT) triggered a fresh 1GT Bullish signal early June after the THB52.75 resistance zone was breached and has since broken above THB60.00 as well. Kasikornbank (KBANK) remains in a well-established uptrend, having recently cleared THB240 with the next resistance at THB255 in sight. Advanced Info Service (ADVANC) produced a fresh 1GT Bullish signal early July after THB370 gave way and is now consolidating under the THB390 resistance that has capped prices since early 2026. Each of these names is examined in detail below, together with the corresponding SDR ticker and the levels that matter for entries and risk management.

1) Airports of Thailand Public Co  (AOT.BK); AOT TH SDR 1to1 (TATD)

Airports of Thailand Public Co Ltd (AOT.BK) is the operator of Thailand's six major international airports, including Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang, and is one of the largest airport operators in the world by market value. As the primary gateway for tourism and air travel into Thailand, the stock is often viewed as a direct proxy for the country's tourism recovery and visitor arrival trends.

From a technical perspective, the stock has been strengthening steadily after emerging from an extended consolidation phase.

Price is trading comfortably above both the 100-day (red line) and 200-day (blue line) moving averages, with both lines sloping upwards, indicating that long-term strength remains intact.

The 20-day (green line) had also started to move sideways in the near term, signalling the consolidation pattern experienced in the last month.

A fresh 1GT Bullish signal emerged in June near the THB52.75 (S$2.10) support zone, where buyers stepped in and defended the level before pushing the stock decisively higher.

Since then, the stock has continued to form higher highs and higher lows, breaking above the THB60.00 (S$2.40) resistance level, which has now turned into a new support.

Price is currently consolidating just below the THB65.00 (S$2.60) resistance level after the strong run-up.

A sustained breakout above this level could pave the way towards THB70.00 (S$2.80), which represents the next major upside target.

As long as these levels continue to hold, the broader uptrend remains constructive and supports the potential for further upside continuation.

💡 So how can investors gain exposure to Airports of Thailand via the TH SDR on SGX?

You can take a position via the Airports of Thailand TH SDR 1to1 (Ticker: TATD), which trades on the SGX with a 1 SDR to 1 underlying share ratio, allowing investors to track the underlying Thai-listed stock directly in SGD terms.

Using the 0.040 THB-to-SGD exchange rate, the SDR is currently priced around S$2.45 – S$2.55, reflecting the underlying chart structure.

Conservative traders may consider accumulating on pullbacks closer to the THB60 (S$2.40) support zone.

More aggressive traders could look for a sustained breakout above THB65.00 (S$2.60) to confirm further upside momentum towards THB70.00 (S$2.80), while maintaining support above THB60.00 (S$2.40) would remain important for the bullish outlook to stay intact.

2) Kasikornbank Public Co. Ltd. (KBANK.BK); KBANK TH SDR 1to1 (TKKD)

Kasikornbank Public Co. Ltd. (KBANK.BK) is one of Thailand’s largest commercial banks, providing a wide range of retail, corporate and digital banking services. As a leading financial institution in Thailand, the stock is often viewed as a proxy for domestic economic growth, consumer activity and business lending trends.

From a technical perspective, the stock continues to trade within a constructive uptrend, supported by a series of higher highs and higher lows.

Price is trading comfortably above the 100-day (red line) and 200-day (blue line) moving averages, with both lines sloping upwards, indicating that long-term strength remains firmly intact.

The 20-day (green line) also continues to trend higher, providing confirmation and reflecting sustained short-term momentum.

A latest 1GT Bullish signal emerged previously in April after the THB190 (S$7.60) resistance turned in a support, where buyers stepped in and defended the level before pushing the stock decisively higher.

Since then, buying momentum has remained strong, with the stock trending steadily upwards and recently breaking above the THB240 (S$9.60) resistance level, which has now turned into a new immediate support.

Price is currently trading just above this level, with the next key resistance at THB255 (S$10.20).

A sustained breakout above this zone could pave the way towards THB270 (S$10.80), which represents the next major upside target.

As long as these levels continue to hold, the broader uptrend remains constructive and supports the potential for further upside continuation.

💡 So how can investors position themselves in KBANK via the TH SDR on SGX?

For investors looking to gain exposure, one can take a position via the KBANK TH SDR 1to1 (Ticker: TKKD), which trades on the SGX with a 1 SDR to 1 underlying share ratio.

Using the 0.04 THB-to-SGD exchange rate, the SDR is currently priced around S$9.60 - S$9.70, in line with the underlying chart structure.

Conservative traders may consider accumulating on pullbacks closer to the THB240 (S$9.60) support zone, where it recently broke out from, with stronger support at THB225 (S$9.00).

More aggressive traders could look for a sustained breakout above THB255 (S$10.20) to confirm further upside momentum towards THB270 (S$10.80), while maintaining support above THB240 (S$9.60) would remain important for the bullish outlook to stay intact.

3) Advanced Info Service (ADVANC.BK) ; ADVANC TH SDR 10TO1 (TADD)

Advanced Info Service Public Co., Ltd. (ADVANC.BK) is Thailand's largest mobile network operator, providing mobile, fixed broadband and digital services to millions of subscribers nationwide. As a leading telecommunications player with strong recurring revenues, the stock is often viewed as a defensive growth name benefiting from rising data usage and Thailand's ongoing digitalisation trends.

From a technical perspective, the stock continues to trade within a constructive uptrend after a period of sideways consolidation.

Price remains above both the 100-day (red line) and 200-day (blue line) moving averages, with both lines sloping upwards, indicating that long-term strength remains intact.

The 20-day (green line) has also flattened, reflecting short-term consolidation after the recent move in July.

A fresh 1GT Bullish signal emerged in late June near the THB350 (S$1.40) support zone, where buyers stepped in and defended the level once again, following an earlier signal in May around the same region of this support.

Since then, the stock has trended steadily higher and is now holding above the THB370 (S$1.48) level, which has turned into a new immediate support.

Price is currently trading under the key THB385 (S$1.54) resistance level, which has capped the stock on previous attempts over the past few months.

A sustained breakout above this level could pave the way towards THB400 (S$1.60), which represents the next major upside target.

As long as these levels continue to hold, the broader technical outlook remains constructive and favours further upside.

💡 So how does one take a position in Advanced Info Service from the TH SDR traded on the SGX?

You can take a position via the Advanced Info Service TH SDR 10to1 (Ticker: TADD), which trades on the SGX with a 10 SDR to 1 underlying share ratio.

Using the 0.040 THB-to-SGD exchange rate, the SDR is currently priced around S$1.45 – S$1.50, reflecting the underlying chart structure.

Conservative traders may consider accumulating on pullbacks closer to the THB370 (S$1.48) support zone, where buyers have stepped in on multiple occasions.

More aggressive traders could look for a sustained breakout above THB385 (S$1.54) to confirm further upside momentum towards THB400 (S$1.60), while maintaining support above THB350 (S$1.40) would remain important for the bullish outlook to stay intact.
